Probiotic Strains

A probiotic label should identify microorganisms as specifically as the product information allows. Genus and species names help distinguish one microorganism from another, while some products also list a strain identifier. The word probiotic alone does not describe the full formula. Check organism names, amount or CFU information, serving size, storage directions, and expiration details. MPG lists probiotics in Emulin5 and several greens formulas. Each product uses its own combination, so read the current label instead of treating all probiotic products as interchangeable.
