Polyphenols and Flavonoids

Polyphenols are a broad group of plant compounds. Flavonoids are one major subgroup of polyphenols. Foods and plant extracts contain many different members of these groups. A label using the phrase polyphenols does not identify every compound or amount. Some extracts state a standardized percentage. Others provide only the extract name. MPG describes polyphenols and flavonoids among the compound groups present in NZ Fulvic and lists several plant extracts elsewhere in its catalog.
