Mineral Salts

Mineral salts are mineral compounds made from charged mineral ions paired with other ions. Personal-care labels often use the phrase broadly, so the ingredient list gives the useful detail. A deodorant, bath product, and dietary mineral supplement use mineral ingredients in different ways. Do not treat topical and dietary use as equivalent. MPG uses mineral-salt language in its deodorant line and lists potassium, calcium, and magnesium in several personal-care products.
