Grape Seed and Grape Extracts

Grape extracts are concentrated ingredients made from parts of the grape plant. Grape seed extract often contains proanthocyanidins, while other grape extracts use different plant material or specifications. Do not treat every grape extract as interchangeable. Check whether the label names grape seed, grape skin, whole grape, or another form. Standardization and amount per serving also matter.
