Bromelain

Bromelain is a group of protein-digesting enzymes derived from pineapple, especially the stem. Supplement labels might state an amount, activity units, or both. Enzyme amount and enzyme activity are different measurements. If a label gives activity units, use those numbers when comparing enzyme preparations.
